Choice Umbrella

For those new to contracting you may be given the option by a recruitment agency to be paid via an Umbrella Company as opposed to being paid directly by the agency itself. You might also find that a recruitment agent may only pay you if you operate through an umbrella company, but may also be prepared to pay you an uplift on your hourly rate to operate in this way.

Nova Contracting rather than you, the worker will engage with your agency. Nova will become your employer and you will receive the following benefits:

How it works:

  • Your agency will process your time sheets and send Nova the gross value each week.
  • Nova will process your expense claims and then calculate the relevant tax and National Insurance Contributions. These taxes are then forwarded to HMRC.
  • Your net pay is then forwarded to your account by same day Faster Payments
